Time off....What a concept
After a month off from the pool I decided to hit it this morning. Talk about a difference a bit of "taper" makes! As they say:
"absence makes the heart grow fonder"
Well after today, "time off makes my swim time faster"
My normal swim distance is around 2000 in 32 minutes. Well this morning after being properly carb'd up and rested, I managed to pull off a 2500 in 34 minutes. I know this is just a temporary thing but knowing it can be done makes me want to hit it harder to get these kind of times consistently.

is 1500 in 34 minutes supposed to be faster than 2000 in 32 minutes? Just sayin'. I fear a typo krept in.
